(In no particular order cause I love everything about this show :P)
1. The Cute Boys. This drama definitely lives up to its title “Hottie Paradise”.
That should be enough right there. If you need more, see pic spam below :)
2. Horikita Maki as “Ashiya Mizuki“:
When Ashiya Mizuki saw Sano Izumi high jump for the first time on TV, she was memorized. She never knew someone could fly so beautifully. When Sano was in the US for a training camp, she went to visit him and was attacked. Sano came to her rescue and was seriously injured. Because he was no longer able to high jump, he lost his smile. Mizuki blamed herself and pledged to make Sano smile once again. She packed her bags and transferred to his school in Japan.
But there was only one problem, it’s an all-boy school.
Despite many challenges and rough times, Mizuki stays by his side and in the end, they learn to smile together.
When Ashiya Mizuki arrives as his new roommate, he thinks Mizuki is nosy and irritating. Despite putting a wall between them, Mizuki starts to break through.
When Sano finds out that she’s a girl and she can’t always stay in Japan, he wants Mizuki to leave with a smile. The more he is with Mizuki, the more his hard exterior starts to melt away and he becomes more like “himself”.
4. Ikuta Toma as “Nakatsu Shuichi”:
He definitely steals the show! He’s adorable, cute, funny, sweet, and hilarious…ooo I sooo could keep going. His character goes through some major inner turmoils. Because he is attracted to Mizuki, he believes he might be gay. Because of his confusion, he has a lot of conversations with himself.
One of the funniest scenes is when he finds girl’s underwear in the hallway of his dorm and he rejoices because he’s “not a homo”.
5. The love triangle.
6. The Kissing Monster: One drop of alcohol and Sano turns into the “kissing monster”. It doesn’t matter who as long as they have a pair of lips haha. Fortunately for us, the kissing monster has left many innocent victims (and hilarious scenes) in his wake.
7. Great cast of characters. Although it’s a little difficult to keep all the boys straight, each character shines. They all do a great job bringing fun to the plotline.

Kamikawa Takaya as “Umeda Hokuto”: The school doctor, he is one of the first to find out that Mizuki is not all that “he” seems. He keeps Mizuki’s secret because he wants to see if she can really help Sano. One of the funniest parts of his character is his interactions with Akira, an old college friend. Everytime she is around, he acts as if he is repulsed by her very presence. They spent a hot, steamy night together in college (before or after Umeda “came out”- I’m not sure). Umeda says that she attacked him and it was not consensual, but you can still see some chemistry between them today even though he completely denies it.

Yamamoto Yusuke as “Kayashima Taiki”: The loyal friend and roomie of Nakatsu. At first, people distanced themselves from him because of his supernatural abilities, but Nakatsu stuck by his side, make them close friends. Even though he knew Mizuki was a girl from the beginning (because of his ability), he doesn’t tell anyone, even when Nakatsu thought he was gay.

Okada Masaki as “Sekime Kyogo”: He’s the track and field captain. Even though Sano gave up hope for high jumping, Sekime doesn’t give up on him. Sekime is also Mizuki’s first friend.

Kimura Ryo as “Senri Nakao”: The school idol. He’s in love with the dorm leader, Nanba. Nakao does not like Mizuki at first because he think she’s trying to take over his idol status. He can relate with Mizuki’s love for Sano where even though you love them, it’s enough to be close to them.

Mizushima Hiro as “Nanba Minami”: Dorm 2 leader. He’s the school playboy. He enjoys the “walk of fame” where girls from other schools come to worship the hotties as they walk to school. He is part of the Sakura Commitee with the other two dorm heads.

Ishigaki Yuma as “Tennoji Megumi”: Dorm 2 Leader, and resident muscle head.
- Kyo Nobuo as “Himejima Masao” (Stage Name: Oscar M. Himejima): Dorm 3 leader. A whole lotta eccentric. He has a tendency to get possessed on a regular occasion, but luckily Kayashima can come “exorcise” him lol.
- Yuujiro: He loves afternoon walks, doggy treats, and women’s underwear haha.

ei man i love what you did, i am from philippines and i am watching the series. its really cool i love the scenes,
specially ashiya mizuki, she is such a remarkable woman. she went out there to regain izumi’s smiles back again. she made it. he smiled.

I just finished the last episode. I cried for pretty much the whole thing. I wanted sano and mizuki to kiss more! Anyway, I love this show sooooooooooooooo much. I want to find others llike it.
